Those who commit fornication and sexual immorality

Nowadays, it seems that committing fornication and related matters are considered to be very normal and often called as "love". The immorality increases in the every level of the present-day society. It begins by Presidents who have "secret" relation and ends by the gardener. It is also known, that before the marriage many of "so called Christian" people lead a life of lawlessness and immorality. Many people continue after their marriage on this way of life. It is also well known that a lot of "so called Christians" are engaged in these terrible practices. Such people are laughing at the Majesty of the Lord God! It seems that they are sleeping and don't recognise their terrible behaviour. In the below essay I will explain to you, the commendation of this lawlessness by the Lord God.

Our Lord Jesus says,, Happy are those who wash their robes clean and so have the right to eat the fruit from the tree of life and to go through the gates into the city. But outside the city are the perverts and those who practice magic, the immoral and murderers, those who worship idols and those who are liars both in words and deed" (Revelation 22:14-15)

The Holiness of the body of a Christian

The body of a Christian is the temple of the Holy Spirit, this means that a Christian is not allowed to use his body for his desires. Regarding the holiness of the body of a Christian we read in the Bible:

1. Surely you know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you! So if anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy Him. For God's temple is holy and you yourself are His temple (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
2. Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; He bought you for a price. So use your body for God's glory (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
3. "Don’t think that there is no truth in the scripture that says. "The Spirit that God placed in us is filled with fierce desires" (James 4:5)
4. Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him (Romans 8: 9)

Dear reader, from the previous quotations it is obvious that the body of the Christians belongs to the Lord God. He/she should use her/his body to glorify the Lord God! The body of a Christian is not an object which you can use it for whatever you want, no dear reader no! You belong to the Lord God, because the price is paid for your body, which means the shed blood of Jesus Christ! For this reason the Bible says,, You know that your bodies are parts of the body of Christ. Shall I take a part of Christ's body and make it part of the body of prostitute? Impossible! Or perhaps you don't know that the man who joins his body to a prostitute becomes physically one with her? The scripture says quite plainly,, The two will become one body". But he who joins himself to the Lord becomes spiritually one with Him". Avoid immorality. Any other sin a man commits does not affect his body; but the man who is guilty of sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1Corinthians 6: 15-18)

The above-mentioned quotation makes everything quite clear! Those people who go to whores are polluting their body, because their body becomes one with the body of the prostitute. The body of a true Christians is a part of the body of Jesus Christ. So, when someone is polluting his body, it means he is polluting the body of Jesus Christ. Dear reader, don't underestimate this, because the Bible is not joking when it says,, .. their body and the body of the whore becomes physically one with each other. And what do you think about the fact that the Bible says,, .. but the man who is guilty of sexual immorality sins against his own body?

What about those young people who in the weekends go to the whores and commit terrible sexual immorality? How about those men who deceive their wife and go to the whores? How about those girls, who use their body for "pleasure" as if it is something quite normal? How about those people who are cheating their father and mother by committing immorality? Dear reader, I can ensure you, those people can forget it! They are mocking at the Majesty of the Lord God! What do they think, they are? Such terrible behaviour will certainly not stay unpunished since the Bible is not joking when it says,, The Lord will crush everyone who sins and rebels against Him; He will kill everyone who forsakes Him (Isaiah 1:28)

Those people who say,, we are Christians" and subsequently committing terrible immorality will certainly not stay unpunished!

Virginity, Purity and cleanness before the marriage

The Bible says,,Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves- none of them will posses God's Kingdom" (1 Corinthians 6:9)

Both the man as well as the woman should be virgin before the marriage according the Law of the Lord God, the Creator of the heaven and the earth. This will be clarified by means of a few examples.

1. Honouring the marriage.

In Hebrew 13:4 we read,, Marriage is to be honoured by all, and husbands and wives must be faithful to each other. God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery"

What is the meaning of….. Marriage is to be honoured by all…..? We could understand the following few points:

1. Before the marriage, a true Christian should be virgin, should be clean!
2. The man and wife should handle faithful to each other
3. The marriage is holy, so one should take care about that and make an effort to maintain its holiness.

What is the meaning of … God will judge those who are immoral and those who commit adultery?

This can be understood as follows:

1. The Lord God will judge those "Christians" who commit adultery.
2. For a true Christian, sex is only allowed within the marriage
3. Those who are unfaithful against their wife's will be condemned.

2. Isaac and Rebecca.

The marriage between Isaac the son of Abraham and Rebecca the daughter of Betuel the Aramean, the nephew of Abraham is described in Genesis 24:1-67. Abraham sends his servant to get Rebecca for His son from the Arameans of Paddan-Aram. We read in the Bible about Rebecca,, She was a very beautiful young girl and still a virgin" (Genesis 24:16)

We learn from this, that Rebecca was a clean girl, she was a virgin. We see here that virginity and purity always has been important for the people who had respect for the Lord God, the Creator of the heaven and the earth!

3. Maria, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

When the angle Gabriel brought the message to Maria that she would become pregnant by the Holy Spirit, her reply was astonishing. She answers to the angle,, I am a virgin. How, then, can this be?" (Luke 1:34)

Maria was still a virgin, because this was the Jewish tradition. This tradition was based on the Law of the Lord God. The marriage for them was as well very holy and so both the man and the woman must stay virgin before the marriage.

4. The relationship between Jesus and the Church

In 2 Corinthians 11:2 we read,, .. you are like a pure virgin whom I have promised in marriage to one man only, Christ Himself"

This is the relationship between Jesus and His church! In Ephesians 5:21-26 the relationship between man and woman is compared with Jesus and His church. Every true Christian who belongs to Christ should purify himself from every evil! He should thus spiritually be "virgin". Because every Christian should be spiritually virgin, in the same way the woman and man should stay virgin before the marriage.

5. The Law of God in the Old Testament regarding sexual purity

In Deuteronomy 22:13 we read,, Suppose a man marries a girl and later he decides he doesn't want her. So he makes up false charges against her, accusing her of not being a virgin when they got married"

We must not misunderstand this quotation! It maybe that we get here the impression that only the woman should be virgin before the marriage. This is also the case for the man, he should be virgin too! It becomes clear that the virginity is certainly very important! (Furthermore Deuteronomy 22:23-24; 25-27; 28-30)

To be the slave of the sexual immorality..

Jesus Christ says,, I am telling you the truth: everyone who sins is a slave of sin,, (John 8:34)

From the previous it becomes, I think, very clear that a Christian person should stay virgin before the marriage. This command is of course for both the man as well as for the woman. This will be more deeply explained by means of an example.

The sexual excess is often on the television glorified and propagated. Committing sexual immorality is explained and glorified as "love". The tone is always,, freedom, do everything and enjoy everything you want. You should be free and you should make your own decisions including having sex". That is the standard, which is propagated by the television and the present-time.

Regarding this way of sexual addiction we read in the Bible,, But these men act by instinct, like wild animals born to be captured and killed; they attack with insults anything they do not understand. They will be destroyed like wild animals, and they will be paid with suffering for the suffering they have caused. Pleasure for them is to do anything in broad daylight that will satisfy their bodily appetites; they are a shame and a disgrace as they join you in your meals, all the while enjoying their deceitful ways! They want to look at nothing but immoral woman; their appetite for sins is never satisfied. They lead weak people into a trap. Their hearts are trained to be greedy. They are under God's curse!" (2 Peter 2:12-15)

The above mentioned quotation will partly be discussed:

…..But these men act by instinct, like wild animals born to be captured and killed; …..

A wild animal acts like its nature. It doesn't think about its deeds and it acts unconscious. It behaves like its nature requires. With such unconsciously behaviour are the people compared who engages with sex and related issues. They cannot control themselves anymore, because they are slaves of their terribly bodily desires! We could say that they are driven by an inward magical power that has taken total control over them. That explains the terrible behaviour of those people who act by their instinct!

……….they attack with insults anything they do not understand……..

We read in the Bible that the Assyrian Empire was destroyed by the Lord God Himself. However there are some people who are attacking the Old Testament in a very terrible and despising way. Their behaviour is really terrible and anti-God. In reality, they are captured in the pitfalls of the evil and don't understand what they are talking about.

Another category people are mocking at the Christian faith. Often they say about the Christian faith,, It is Old fashioned", or "They are mad", or "They are extremists etc.. "

Such people are, in general, brutal, pride and have no any respect for whatever and whoever. The apostle Paul says about them,, Because those people refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God, He has given them over to their  corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should not do. They are filled with all kind of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; they are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, deceit, and malice. They gossip and speak evil of one another; they are hateful to God, insolent, proud, and boastful, they think of more ways to do evil; they disobey their parents; they have no conscience; they do not keep their promises, and they show no kindness or pity for others. They know that God's law says that people who live in this way deserve the death. Yet, not only do they continue to do these very things, but they even approve of others who do them" (Romans 1:28-31)

………. Pleasure for them is to do anything in broad daylight that will satisfy their bodily appetites;………..

On television, there are in many ways the vice propagated. A sex scene is glorified as "love". Furthermore, the lewdness, the immorality is present in the film industry, the mode-world and everywhere, where much money can be earned. Sometimes, this is done conscious and sometimes unconscious. Others are shown their "so called love" to the people on streets and parks. These are the terrible people who do everything to satisfy their bodily appetites. They became the slaves of their internal desires, so that they have no control over themselves. They are dealing with sex like animals do. They have lost all their humanity and give themselves to their bodily appetites. They have made bodily pleasure and the related matters to lofty.

……….. they are a shame and a disgrace as they join you in your meals, all the while enjoying their deceitful ways!……………..

We see that a true Christian should keep these terrible people at a great distance and should certainly not involve in their terrible practices. That is the reason why the Bible says,, Happy are those who reject the advice of evil men, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God" (Psalms 1:1). For example, there are many so-called Christians who are engaged in the criminal world. Some of them even come to the Church. Such people should be kept at distance, because they are in reality lost!

…….. They want to look at nothing but immoral woman; their appetite for sins is never satisfied………..

Those who lead a sinful live, it is normal to them to do that, because they become slaves of that. Doing sinful things is very naturally for them and they have in one or another way also a certain "pleasure" in such a way of life. Beside it, some of them even encourage this way of life and try to mislead weak people. If you are not enjoying their way of life, they consider you as an abnormal person!

Such as a Christian is enjoying his relationship with Jesus Christ, in exactly the same those people enjoy their way of life of committing sins. The reason for this is, that they see their sinful practices as a pleasure. They are slaves of that and they neglect every warning of their parents or friends. They have no any interest or whatsoever in discovering the truth. In their behaviour, their true character becomes visible.

Get away from lechery, immorality and unrestraint….

A true Christian should keep every evil and dirt issues at a great distance. He should never involve in such terrible sinful matters. In the following examples, it will become clear, that a Christian should purify his body from every dirt and evilness. Otherwise he can forget it!

The Lord God says,, You are guilty of lying, violence, and murder. You go to court, but you haven’t got justice on your side. You depend on lies to win your case. You carry out your plans to hurt others" (Isaiah 59:3-4)

In 1 Corinthians 7:2 we read,, But because there is so much immorality, every man should have his own wife, and every woman should have her own husband"

From this quotation such-and-such time become clear that sex outside the marriage is forbidden. To make clear that a true Christian only inside the marriage is allowed to have sex, the Bible expresses this by the fact that every man should have his own wife and every woman should have her own husband. If someone has need regarding sex, than one should marry, otherwise sex outside the marriage is a cruel thing to the Holiness of the Lord God.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9 we read,, Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves- none of them will posses God's Kingdom"

This quotation is remarkable, isn't? I mean, studying this quotation it will certainly not give a good feeling. We could say that there are not very many people who will be saved! But dear reader, I can guarantee you that nobody can mock unpunished at the Holiness and the Majesty of the Lord God. That is also the reason that our Lord Jesus Christ says,, Many are invited, but few are chosen " (Matthew 22:14). This means that the majority of the Christianity is actually lost! It is only the name-Christianity. Some people, inside our community, often say, we are Suryoye and we speak the language Jesus and so we are Christians". But dear reader, this is not enough! When you call yourself a Christian, you should bring it into practice! If you are Christian, but you are slandering about your fellow Christian, what kind of Christian are you?

The sentence … none of them will posses God's Kingdom…is really remarkable to me! Besides, this sentence lets no any doubt about our issue! Those who are committing adultery and related matters and don't stop with that will certainly very hard be punished! There are some people who say,, I am going to enjoy this life, but if I am getting older, I will stop with it!". The message to these people is,, You are mocking and insulting at the Majesty and the Holiness of the Lord God" Because such thoughts come originally form the Satan himself! How do you know that a week later still you will be alive? How do they know that a day later they will be still alive? Are all of these matters not in the hands of the Lord God? Dear reader, I can guarantee you that such slanderers are slandering with themselves! Jude, the traitor, thought also that he could betray Jesus and after that ask for forgiveness. These are Satanic thoughts and are always punished.

If someone want to get closer to the Lord God, he should stop with all sinful practices. By committing lechery, the body of a person is polluted and his conscience as well. As a result of that, the involved person does things that he should not do. I think that the sexuality is one of the very weak points of the human being. Many people become by that in the pitfalls of the Satan. It is very important to a Christian to keep that in mind!.

In 2 Corinthians 12:21 we read,, .. and I shall sweep over many who sinned in the past and have not repented of the immoral things they have done- their lust and their sexual sins "

Apostle Paul is very concerned about the people of the Greece Harbour City of Corinthia. Those people were continuing their sinful way of life, even after their conversion to the Christianity. The apostle is urging those people to stop with this terrible and objectionable way of life.

In Ephesians 5:3 we read,, Since you are God's people, it is not right that any matters of sexual immorality or indecency or greed should even be mentioned among you"

Dear reader, please pay attention to this sentence! Here, the Bible is speaking to the true Christians. A true Christians should be aware that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which means that he should never use the temple of the Holy Spirit for his personal desires! No, dear reader No! A true Christian person is a Holy person in all of his deeds. Yes indeed, there are some people "the so called Christians" who do not commit sexual immorality! But those people slander everyday their neighbours and their fellow Christians. Some of them are so selfish, greedy and full of hatred that their behaviour is an anti-Christian behaviour. So, those who are slandering or mocking or are greedy, those people are committing "spiritual sexual immorality". Anyway also from this quotation becomes very clear that a Christian should keep every kind of indecency at a great distance.

In Thessalonians 4:3- 5,, God wants you to be holy and completely free from sexual immorality. Each of you men should know how to live with his wife in a holy and honourable way, not with a lustful desire, like the heathen who do not know God"

I think that from this quotation everything becomes very clear! A Christian, irrespective of his duty, should be a holy person in everything! Now dear reader, I have a few questions: We all know that there are lots of "so called Christians" who are guilty of this terrible immorality. Some of those Christians have a sit in the Church council! How about those people? How about those who are misleading their wife? How about those "Christians" who are slaves of gambling, cheating, lying, mocking, slandering, gossiping, scandalmonger and malingers? What kind of Christians are they? How "holy" are those who take the sit on the first row in the Church? How "holy" are those who let their wife and children at home a go to whores? How "holy" are those who misplace the many of the Church?

When a person says "I am a Christian" he should give a meaning to it. I mean everybody can say "I am Christian". The questions is thus,, What is that mean to you?" Only words and nothing else? From the quotation is quite clear that a true Christians are those who lead a life in agreement with the Wiliness of the Lord God. The Wiliness of the Lord is revealed in the Holy Book the Bible! This means that a true Christian should clean himself from every thinkable dirt and immorality. Otherwise, the Lord God will pull us out of His mouth like we can read in Revelation 3:15-17,, I am going to spit you out my mouth! You say, ‘I am rich and well of; I have all I need.’ But you do not know how miserable and pitiful you are! You are poor, naked, and blind"

The Bible is not joking when it says,, … with his wife in a holy and honourable way…. This means that a Christian is certainly not allowed to commit sex outside the marriage. A Christian should respect and honour his wife! Those who commit sexual immorality are described as,, . a lustful desire, like the heathen…." You get lustful desires when you are slave of something. A person, who is addicted to drugs, it is very difficult for him to stop with that. A person who is addicted to sexual desires, it also very difficult for him to stop with that. Dear reader, I can ensure you that such kind of behaviour certainly will not stay unpunished! It is terrible to be punished by the Lord God, because the Bible says "It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God! (Hebrew 10:31)

Conclusion

From this essay becomes very clear that sex outside the marriage is not allowed for a true Christian. It became also quit clear that sex before the marriage is not allowed. The man as well as the woman should be virgin before the marriage according the law of the Lord God. Those who still are kept in the pitfalls of the Satan, they should stop better today than tomorrow. However, how do they know that tomorrow they will be still alive? The end result will be than … none of them will posses God's Kingdom

Our Lord Jesus says,, But a few of you …. have kept your clothes clean. You will walk with Me, clothed in white, because you are worthy to do so" (Revelation 3:4)
